Canoe Building

This coming March we’re running our second annual canoe building workshop… And we’re accepting camper applications now!

The workshop will take place over the school March break, from Monday March 11 to Friday March 15, 2024.

Eight campers will learn how to build a simple wooden boat under the supervision of skilled boat builders, who will guide them through every step of the process – from reading blue prints, to cutting and shaping parts, to assembly and finishing processes.

It will all take place at Waldie Woodworks, a fully-equipped boat building workshop just outside of Kingston. Camp Outlook will transport campers to and from the workshop every day.

Like all Camp Outlook programs, our canoe building workshop is free of charge.
